Chilaquilles Verde: Fresh Tortilla Chips Tossed In Roasted Tomatillo Sauce, Two Fried Eggs, Cotija Cheese Flakes, Light Crema, Served With Black Beans

Eggy’s was a great find when we were looking for a local brunch spot. We went there the day after LSC’s birthday in January. While it looks like they do have indoor seating, we got there near closing time, so I think they already put the tables aside. It wasn’t too big of a deal because their outdoor patio was really nice, with all the plants and bamboo.

The food was delicious, but the portions were huge, which actually worked out well since we got to take some home. We both got chilaquiles (I got verde, LSC got rojos), and they were both really good. The chilaquilles rojos were super spicy, so I made sure to order mine mild.

We didn’t have issues finding metered street parking, but we did go towards the end of brunch. Would definitely go back again.
